Radiographer (MRI/CT) - Full time - Up to £43,000 - Bath Area - Private Hospital - Great Benefits

Department Equipment:
The Department comprises GE 1.5T HDXT and Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI scanners, Siemens X.Cite CT scanner, GE digital X-ray room, image intensifiers, and a mobile x-ray unit.
Significant investment has gone into the department as part of our development as a new Community Diagnostic Centre.


Radiographer (MRI/CT) Qualifications and Requirements:
• DCR or BSc in Radiography.
• Evidence of CPD.
• HCPC Registration.
• MRI/CT experience.
• Wide range of clinical skills.
• Relevant organisational skills in a Radiology department.
• At least 2 years MRI post-registration experience.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications.

Radiographer (MRI/CT) Responsibilities:
• Undertake MRI and CT scanning to the highest standards.
• Perform general Radiographic duties, producing high-quality diagnostic images using the digital X-ray room, image intensifiers, and mobile unit.
• Participate in the on-call system.
• Ensure good communication among healthcare professionals, promoting harmonious working relationships and safe practices.
• Take measures to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in managing IT/PACS systems for the department.
• Abide by all local rules, standard operating procedures, and group-wide policies.
• Participate in departmental and hospital audits.
• Abide by the professional code of conduct.
• Promptly report accidents/incidents/near misses to the Team lead and the Hospital governance system.
• Be familiar with all departmental and emergency equipment, ensuring checks in line with policy and reporting/escalating any problems.
• Maintain CPD in line with current registration requirements.
• Keep up to date with research and advances in technology, ensuring up-to-date practice.
• Ensure all Mandatory/Statutory training is up to date.
• Deputise for the Radiology Lead, Deputy Lead Radiographer, MRI Clinical Specialist as required.
