£40,000 - £43,000 plus Bonus
Based in Manchester
Are you a seasoned quality professional with a passion for excellence in the chemical industry? We're recruiting on behalf of our Chemical industry client based in Manchester for a talented Quality Supervisor to lead their quality assurance efforts and drive continuous improvement within their chemical plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards within the chemical plant.
• Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and environmental management systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring a smooth and successful process.
• Provide guidance and support to the quality team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in quality management within the chemical industry, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Lead Auditor qualifications are essential, with demonstrated experience leading internal and external audits.
• HNC/HND/Degree in a Science-related subject, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
