Service Technician – Valve Technician

Location:           Sunderland with 10% site based work

Salary:              Negotiable + car / van + overtime (x1.5 & x2) + pension (10-15%) + 25 holidays   

Hours:              37 hours week Monday – Friday / early finish Friday

                        Good overtime available especially around shut downs

The Person:

• Experience in maintenance, service, repair, assembly, overhaul of valves and actuators
• ONC, BTEC, NVQ 3, HNC in mechanical or / and craft apprentice or fitting
• Professional, health and safety focused, computer literate, good awareness and a can do attitude.
• Experience working on lathes, millers, borers, general machining would be an advantage
• Able to be flexible and work overtime particularly around planned shutdowns – great overtime earning potential in return.

The Job:

• 90% workshop based and occasionally at customer sites throughout the UK / overseas to provide preventive and predictive maintenance on valves and actuators.
• Maintenance, fitting, assembly, service, repair, overhaul of valves and actuators
