Role Responsibilities:

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading by example through setting and maintaining high operating standards to ensure safe, sustainable, and reliable operations within the commercial facility
• Liaising with the HSE Manager to ensure the safety and well-being of your team by managing risk
• Developing and delivering a resource and production plan to meet sales volumes
• Collaborating with commercial and QA/QC teams to deliver on-time and on-spec product
• Maturing and developing manufacturing work processes to support safe and efficient operations
• Tracking operational KPI’s, identifying root causes of any missed metrics and implementing solutions to meet the plan
• Managing the interface with the projects team including delivering the operational commissioning process of new plant and equipment
• Building an in-depth knowledge of the process to provide process, optimisation and troubleshooting support to the operation team
   

Role Requirements:

The successful Operations Manager will have:

• Considerable industrial operations management with proven production team leadership experience
• A degree or equivalent in a Scientific or Engineering discipline
• A hands-on and team-oriented leadership style to drive value-adding and results-driven performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels.
