Medical Technical Officer (MTO)
Location - London
Histology Laboratory experience essential
Main Duties
To assist in the smooth running of the Histology laboratory with particular reference to the 'cut up room'
Sorting and Booking in samples
Assisting in Cut up supporting Biomedical Scientists
Reagent change and daily maintainace of processors and embedding machines
Make up solutions
Prepartaion of stock for deliveries
Ecsure cut up room is clean daily
Rotate in lab completing routine tasks as dircected and in support of teh biomedical scientists and senior staff members.
Excellent communication skills and 'can do attitude' is essential !
Fill time hours 37.5 and by rotation 1 Saturday per month
Must have UK full time right to work
Min 6 months UK experience as an MLA/MTO ideally within Cellular pthology
