Our client is looking for a locum clinical pharmacist for a single and block bookings to start as soon as possible. The position is for 30 hours per week, with flexible days and working hours. 

Role & Responsibilities

• Clinical and accuracy checking of prescriptions
• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting GP’s orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.
• Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions, supported through New Medicine Service and Discharge Medicine Service
• Lead and manage team to support the operational requirements of the dispensary
• Provides patient focused pharmacy services
• Provision of Pharmacy First and other advanced services to meet the needs of the business)

Experience:

• Pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)

Qualifications and Client Requirements

• GPhC registration is essential
• Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm).
• Ability to manage relationships with the medical centre staff, including GPs.
• Ward and Dispensery based (orthapedics would be an advance)
• Mandatiry trainings
