Paediatric Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Child Psychologist with specialist experience of neuropsychological assessment or a Neuropsychologist to join - multidisciplinary therapy team. You will work with children with a wide range of neurodisabilities. You will be required to work mainly in inpatient but there may be some Outpatient cover required.

Band: 7/8+
Hours of work: Flexible / Part-time
Start: ASAP - Ongoing
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (Can be Flexible)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes.
- Neuropsychology formulation, assessment and recommendations
- Develop an individualized treatment plan for each child and their families.
- Educate family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviours.
- Psychological consultation to colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team
Skills & Experience
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a graduate degree in psychology, and a Ph.D. or. Psy.D. in clinical or child psychology.
- Several years’ clinical experience working with children with neurological deficit.
- Additional training in Neuropsychological assessment in children/adolescents
