W Talent Manufacturing are supporting a leading manufacturing company based in Cheshire who are now looking to recruit an Electrical Biased, Maintenance Engineer.

This Manufacturer has a focus on innovation and driving continuous improvement and is now seeking a new Maintenance Engineer to help improve on site breakdowns and new installations.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Electrical Biased, Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the upkeep of all manufacturing equipment within this finishing department. You will be an Electrical biased engineer, with the chance to develop and train within Mechanical with the aim of becoming a multi-skilled engineer.  This position will be working Monday to Friday, days based at the manufacturing site in Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will assist in new installations including commissioning of equipment related to onsite projects while carrying out planned maintenance routines.
• To carry out safety inspections of equipment to comply with the company health and safety policy.
• To ensure compliance with company and legislative health and safety policies, procedures, and standards always.
• To complete engineering breakdown reports and practice Good Manufacturing Practice with factory areas.
• Provide support and advice to engineers and department managers where appropriate.
• To participate in-house and external training courses as deemed relevant by the Company.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance routines and rectify defects where appropriate during planned maintenance or on immediate request.

Key Requirements:
