We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our client, a global medical device manufacturing company based in the heart of Scotland.

As Senior Buyer you will ensure availability of materials in line with quality standards, technical specifications and price; forming strong relationships with suppliers to ensure this is achieved. You will also ensure that contracts are up to date and that procurement protocols are followed, whilst guaranteeing that required stock levels are maintained.

Compiling data and reports to enable evaluation with key stakeholders will not be new to you and working cross functionally and collaboratively to improve performance will be high on your agenda. As a key contact, you will ensure that any concerns are resolved and that all parties are effectively advised on progress/outcomes.

Think you have what it takes?

To succeed you will need a relevant degree or equivalent, together with experience of working within a regulated manufacturing environment. You will have demonstrable experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
