Russell Taylor Group have a Flow Cytometry Scientist role to join their growing Molecular and Cellular team within their global testing business.
These positions are at Scientist and Senior Scientist levels, so a number of years regulated industry experience in either a GMP or GLP environment is essential alongside practical experience in flow cytometry.

Responsibilities: -
• Experience in flow cytometry utilising a variety of cell types which includes panel development.
• Provide analytical services to customers in the pharmaceutical sectors.
• Perform method development and validation.
• Cell proliferation, cell death, receptor binding, cell activation, gene transfection/transduction
• Develop new laboratory techniques.
• Work to quality standards
• Draw on literature to come up with best plan of action.
• Provide specialist expertise in method development, validation, and analysis.
• Communicate directly with clients.
• Formulate and advise strategies to tackle any problems.
• Support business development in the generation of quotes for that specific area.
• Training or mentoring of junior staff.


The Person: -
• Previous experience in flow cytometry.
• Experience of method development and method validation.
• Previous experience working within biopharmaceuticals (Mrna vaccines, peptides, viruses, cell, or gene therapy)
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Experience of interpreting data and generating reports.
• Ability to problem solve without written procedures.
• Be able to communicate confidently with clients.
