Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

There are two shift patterns on offer:

Monday to Friday Days based – 47k

Monday to Friday – Nights based – 2am finish on Friday – 51k

Very generous package including:

Annual Bonus  - Circa £1500 per annum

15% Pension

Overtime paid at up to double time

This role is site based, working for a global organisation in North Yorkshire. If you currently live within a reasonable commute to Northallerton, Thirsk or Harrogate then we want to hear from you.

My client, one of the most successful and well-known brands in their field are seeking multiple Maintenance Engineering professionals for their state of the art facility in North Yorks.

You’ll play pivotal roles in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance of operating equipment, repair, identifying reliability issues, root cause problem solving and improvement of assets.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be actively involved in the following tasks:

• You’ll be accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard to ensure downtime is minimized.
• Being responsible for supporting installation, commissioning, and testing within the area as the need arises, you’ll work closely with and coach operators, engineers, and team leaders to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required.
   

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills & experience:

You must have completed a formal engineering apprenticeship, ideally within a process/ industrial/ manufacturing industry.

You must have experience in planned maintenance strategies (PPM) and have a strong focus towards continuous improvement and attention to detail.

Electrically qualified.
