£25,000 - £30,000/annum

Our client is a leading manufacturer of technically advanced and intelligent power amplifiers that support activities in the dynamic, multi domain integration of EW environments. This includes contract electronic manufacturing for whole systems that contain this technology. Due to company growth, they are looking for a Quality Control Assistant to join the team.

Position Overview:

As Quality Control Assistant, you will report directly to the Quality Control Manager, your primary responsibility will be quality control and quality assurance for all products produced within the Factory.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customer requirements are met within the companies’ strict standards
  • Working alongside the QC manager, inspect and report on products produced during daily production.
  • Offer feedback, support and training, where necessary, for Assemblers, across the range of various products.
  • Work with the QC Manager to ensure that the structured Quality system used, remains with ISO (phone number removed) and 27001.
  • Support the over-all improvement of processes through internal quality systems.
  • Support the development of production documentation.
  • Analise, report and maintain control of the NC reporting processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current experience of Quality control in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of Electro mechanical manufacturing
  • Soldering standards of IPC 610
  • Understanding of IPC 620
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and re-work
