As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
- Supporting, coordinating, and effectively assisting in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
- Providing quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
- Leading in the delivery of patient care, during a list or specified period of time.
- Ensuring patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with policy.
- Contributing to quality improvement and promoting best evidence-based practice within your scope of practice.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you'll enjoy a package that includes:

- Be a registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Have a post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification.
- Have completed an ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
- Have completed an approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
- Possess orthopaedic skills and have previous a background working within an acute healthcare environment.
- Have previous experience managing and leading a clinical team.
