• Job Title: Pharmacist Band 6/7
• Location: Surrey
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), part-time is also considered.
• Start Date: April 2024
• Rate of pay: £22 - £32 per hour.

As Locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in covering and assisting dispensary teams on the prison wings.

• Handling and ordering medical prescriptions for residents.
• Instructing residents how to take their medication and answering any questions.
• General dispensary and screening of prison residents.
• Supporting ATOs and Pharmacy Techs with checking when needed.
• Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
• Performing structured medicines reviews and education for residents.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

• Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist
• MUST HAVE PRISON CLEARNACE 
• Some kind of previous community pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Working hours and contract duration:

This position is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with the option of working 3,4 or 5 day per week.
