Compass Associates have partnered exclusively an ambitious privately operated specialist rehabilitation and community care provider who have lofty growth objectives across the next 4/5 years. They currently Operate hospitals and supported living services across Lancashire and West Yorkshire totalling 81 beds. Together we are seeking a Hospital Director for their reputable service based in Preston.         
              
This role will report directly to the group's Assistant Director with accountability to the Managing Director & Nominated Individual.        
The post will in fact oversee 2 services, adjacent to each other uniquely positioned to offer a clinical 'step down' pathway in turn offering a flexible and bespoke pathway that is not dictated by set timescales or parameters. The first service is 14 bedded, male only, slow stream rehabilitation, The second a 22 bed, mixed gender residential with nursing service for individuals with mental health needs and dual diagnosis (Autism, mild learning disability, substance misuse).         
              
As Hospital Director you will set the strategic direction of the service, forming strong internal and external stakeholder links to ensure successful delivery of business objectives; strengthen the management team through identifying skills gaps and developing a cohesive, performance focused culture. Critically you will be tasked regain their CQC Regulatory rating, which has recently changed from Outstanding to RI. You will also be responsible for planning, managing, and reviewing the occupancy and financial performance whilst also ensuring that service user/ resident safety is paramount and maintained through robust clinical governance structures. Successful candidates will offer a proven track record of holding registration, will hold an active NMC pin.         
         
Requirements                  
RMN Nursing Qualification
Active NMC Pin
Proven Record of managing nursing teams
Turnaround experience (desirable)
Sound knowledge of the mental health act

The Hospital is located in Preston and is in close proximity to Blackburn, Blackpool, Wigan, Bolton, amongst others.
