Senior Care Assistant –  Woking (Job ref – PK61180)

Our client in Woking is an established Residential Care Home which provides person-centred care for up to 30 residents in a comfortable and supportive environment. They are rated Good in all areas in their most recent CQC report and a part of a supportive, independently-owned care company.

The Care Home is well served by multiple bus routes and also offers free on-site parking. They now have an exciting opportunity for Senior Care Assistants to join their passionate team of Carers and Senior Carers.

Senior Care Assistant pay rates starting at: £14.00+ per hour

These are full time, permanent roles working 12 hour shifts; 24, 36 or 48 hours per week depending on your preference. Both Day and Night shifts are available.

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant role:

• Senior Care Assistants with previous experience working within care as a Senior
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Preferred but not essential)
• Previous experience of working with the elderly
• Medication training

Responsibilities of a Senior Care Assistant:

• Administer medication
• Work collaboratively within a team of other Care Assistants and Senior Carers
• Liaise with all visiting professionals including GPs, other healthcare professionals and families.
• Helping to run the shift, hands on supporting the floor.
