Panama Shift Days and Nights 12hr shifts

£52,000 including shift allowance

My global market leading client are looking to recruit an Engineering Team Leader in Liverpool, they can provide an excellent working environment and extensive progression opportunities. 

Job Summary;
The Engineering Team Leader will support managerial duties and ensure a fully functional automated site. The Engineering Team Leader will have experience in leading and organising a team of maintenance engineers and be involved in hands on electro-mechanical maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Health & Safety.
  • Daily meeting with stakeholders.
  • Reactive/Planned Maintenance (Electro-mechanical).
  • Control maintenance activities on site.
  • Engineering Team Leading and Coordination.
  • Undertake analysis of CMMS data to assist forward planning for CI opportunities.
  • Provide clear communication and efficient instruction.
  • Ensure that reports are well written and legible.
  • Parts Management.
  • Provide dynamic leadership.
  • People Leadership including delivery of performance reviews, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues and employee welfare and wellbeing.
  • Manage the day to day running of the team, including tasks such as approving holiday bookings and holding return-to-work meetings.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating company values.

Skills, qualifications and experience

  • Proven history of strength in leading Engineers/Technicians.
  • A recognised engineering qualification.
  • Ideally experienced in Automation / Manufacturing / FMCG.
  • Ideally hold a H&S qualification.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in an engineering field would be desirable.
  • Experience of managing teams would be desirable
  • Experience of having operated a CMMS system preferred.
  • Proven track record in service maintenance 
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Computer Literate, MS Office / CMMS systems
