Join our client's vibrant new practice as a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). You'll be part of a small, friendly team dedicated to providing exceptional pet healthcare.

As the successful candidate, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of their clinical team, offering support where needed and serving as a role model in your duties. You'll also utilise your managerial skills to enhance workflow efficiency. Your role will involve nurturing the professional growth of their RVNs, guiding their development in surgical and medical specialties, and contributing to the training of their entire nursing and VCA team. Additionally, you'll play a key role in conducting appraisals and clinical care audits, requiring the ability to inspire and motivate your colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the daily operations of the clinical team
• Provide support and act as a role model
• Enhance workflow efficiency through managerial skills
• Develop the potential of RVNs in surgical and medical interests
• Contribute to the training of the nursing and VCA team
• Conduct appraisals and clinical care audits
• Inspire and motivate colleagues

Requirements:

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
• Demonstrable managerial skills
• Experience in general nursing
• Excellent customer service skills
• Genuine interest in animal welfare
• Full-time availability (40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 weekends)
