The role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead the SHE team at the Oxfordshire site. As the SHE Team Manager, you will oversee a team of eleven specialists responsible for shaping and implementing the SHE Management system.
This pivotal role reports directly to the Head of SHE and involves collaborating closely with all departments on-site, providing timely professional SHE advice, and ensuring a strong SHE management culture.
Responsibilities include providing expert SHE advice and guidance to management, employees, tenants, and facility users whilst developing and maintaining the SHE Management System in alignment with best practices and legislative requirements.

As well as leading and developing the SHE Group to deliver effective SHE services, including training and inspections the role will ensure thorough investigation and reporting of all SHE incidents, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a degree level education in a science or engineering discipline, ideally with a NEBOSH Diploma and working towards CMIOSH.
Proven experience in a SHE advisory role within scientific, engineering, construction, or technology sectors.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office suite and SHE management systems.
