Day Webster Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join our NHS client's community CAMHS team. This full-time position offers an immediate start, subject to compliance status. Requirements:
  • Must hold GMC Licence to Practice
  • Right to work in the UK and minimum 6 months UK experience
  • AC Status and Section 12 approval (Desirable)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and adolescents with a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioural disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans and treatment interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and therapists, to support the holistic needs of patients and their families.
  • Conduct risk assessments, crisis interventions, and safeguarding measures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable young people and promoting positive outcomes in mental health and emotional resilience.
  • Participate in clinical governance activities, audit processes, and service development initiatives, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based CAMHS services and adherence to national guidelines and standards.
