Role Overview

  • Provide diagnostic assessments of clients and then interpret and integrate data from a variety of sources including clinical interview, self-report measures, rating scales
  • Carry out direct and indirect observations and semi-structured interviews with clients
  • Offer a tailored approach to meet individual clients needs including coaching, training and appropriate recommendations including assistive technology.
  • Communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation, and treatment plans of patients where necessary.
  • Provide clinical leadership, in terms of best theory and practice for diagnosis in relevant neurodiverse conditions and provide clinical supervision to team members

Skills and Experience

  • HCPC-registered Psychologist
  • Msc in Occupational Psychology
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with neurodiversity in adults
  • Experience of using a range of cognitive assessment tools
  • Supervisory experience
  • BPS certificates in psychometric testing
  • ADI; ADI-R; ADOS; Coaching; DIVA Assessments
  • Experience in Neurodiversity Field
  • Extensive knowledge in occupation therapy and occupational psychology
  • Understanding Assistive Technology
  • Workplace Needs Assessments
  • Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA)
  • British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation
  • HCPC registration
