Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist - Band 6 – Essex - 3 month rolling contract - Night shifts only 

Hunter Gatherer AHP is looking for a highly experienced Biomedical Scientist to work with our client in Essex. This is a 3 month rolling contract and will consist of only night shifts. 

• Job Title: Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist - Band 6
• Location: Essex
• Duration: 3 month rolling contract
• Schedule: 9 - 5 initially whilst competencies are signed off, after which will be 3 nights per week 
• Core hours: 21:00 - 8:00, 37.5 hours per week 
• Start Date: ASAP start ideal 
• Rate of pay: £25 - 26 DOE and Banding,  £30 - 34 ph for nights

Requirements

• Current HCPC Registration 
• IBMS Accredited Degree 
• Experience working within a UK Haematology/Transfusion laboratory
• Sysmex EPU, Q Pulse and Modulab experience ideal 

Working hours and contract duration:

This position will require you to work core hours initially until your competencies are signed off, after which you'll be working 3 nights a week, 21:00 - 8:00. This is on a 3 month rolling basis.
