A leading Croydon hospital for elective health services is now looking for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) to join the team within their pre-operative assessment clinic.

The hospital cares for patients from South London, Kent and Surrey who are opting for planned procedures and therapies across its state-of-the-art inpatient and outpatient facilities. Patients benefit from a JAG-accredited endoscopy department, an AFPP-accredited operating department, and a brand-new, cutting-image imaging department, amongst other services.

Surgical facilities are dedicated to providing elective interventions for a range of conditions, and patients may undergo these as day-case or in-patients. As a Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse, you will conduct thorough assessments to determine that patients meet the criteria for surgery and provide them with the information and support they need to prepare for their surgery.

This is a permanent Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse position, full-time (37.5h) or part-time. The clinic is open days-only, so there will be no night shifts required.

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Adult).
