Working for one of the fastest growing private pharmacies in the UK based within the Holborn area, you’ll have the opportunity to join this medical cannabis business within their dispensary as the Clinical Prescribing Pharmacist.

You’ll require the following essentials to be considered for this position:

• Masters Pharmacy (MPharm) Degree from an accredited University
• Current UK license as a Pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of treatments for Pain and Mental health illness (depression, Insomnia)
• Natural passion about the use of Medical Cannabis
• Experience working in a GP setting or community / hospital setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care by ensuring safe and effective medication use. Your expertise in schedule 2 controlled drug Cannabis prescription legislation, patient care, safe prescribing and knowledge will contribute to the overall well-being of their patients.

Within this position, you’ll also be carrying out the following duties:

• Supporting Clinical Lead, COO and Business Manager
• Patient triage to assess eligibility
• Supporting prescription rewrites
• Repeat prescriptions
• Working under shared care for repeat prescriptions
• Liaising with pharmacy team for active queries
• Dealing with clinical queries
• Liaising with consultants in relation to patient eligibility
• Working to ensure all clinical activities are up to date and compliant
• Responding to tasks shared by admin team
• Contributing to clinical meetings
• Communicating with patient GP, if necessary, both in sourcing information and responding to queries
• Sourcing SCR and additional information
• Ensuring clinical and operational procedures in place
• Attending MDT

Working hours and Salary

Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.

Hybrid working available up to 3 days at home
