Excellent opportunity for a process engineer position

This is a fixed term 12 months contract opportunity. Kenton Black Scientific is a recruitment partner to one of the leading pharmaceutical laboratory based in Liverpool.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize specialized knowledge in production plant equipment and operations to pre-emptively recognize potential challenges in scaling up processes.
Offer insights during process development to address concerns and ensure smooth process scaling.
Perform risk assessments, evaluate suppliers, suggest process modifications, gather performance data, and troubleshoot scaling issues.
Collaborate closely with development scientists, kilo lab facilities, and external manufacturing partners.
Ensure safe and efficient delivery of innovative medicines for clinical trials and patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or Chemistry; relevant experience may be considered.
Demonstrated industrial manufacturing expertise in petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, or API process scaling.
Preferably, experience in manufacturing or pilot plants with pharmaceutical small molecules or intermediates.
