This full-time role offers a flexible shift pattern, working 37.5 hours a week. It provides a competitive salary of up to £35,000 and access to a wide range of benefits, including private healthcare and pension schemes, and an impressive holiday allowance.

As a Senior Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring patient care standards are consistently maintained in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all patients, employees, and consultants.
  • Acting as an advocate for safeguarding patients and demonstrating nerve to speak up when there are concerns about care.
  • Conducting yourself professionally within the standards and framework provided by the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The ideal candidate for the Senior Registered Nurse role should have:

  • A Registered general nurse level 1/ Diploma / BSc in Nursing studies.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development preferably evidenced by certification RN with valid NMC Registration.
  • A Mentorship Qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
  • Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice standards.
  • Basic workload / shift management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • 18 months post-registration experience.
