Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team. As a Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our nursing team while ensuring excellent patient care and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing a team of RVNs and VCAs.
Assisting with recruitment and training of nursing staff.
Providing clinical coaching to junior nurses and supporting student placements.
Overseeing anaesthesia monitoring, in-house lab samples, and Schedule 3 procedures.
Conducting nurse consultations and maintaining patient welfare and care.
Managing stock and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
Opportunity to conduct nurse clinics or puppy parties.

Requirements:

Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
Experience in leading a team within a veterinary practice is desirable.
Proficient in anaesthesia monitoring, lab procedures, and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Computer literate with good people skills.
