Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care to patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and trainees.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Engage in teaching and training activities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Keep abreast of developments in the field of gastroenterology and contribute to research and academic activities.
