Registered Nurse – Nights

Rushden, Northants

Up to £23.79 per hour

My client is a privately owned group who have a care home in the Rushden area that is rated ‘good’ by CQC.   The home is based on the outskirts of the town and has high class facilities and beautiful landscaped gardens. They take exceptional pride in working as a team to provide care that honours and values residents.

In this role you will:

• Work with the Home Manager, Clinical Lead and other trained nurses in the Home, to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality nursing care to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to residents at all times
• Support carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
• Be responsible for administering medication, writing and updating nursing care plans and keeping accurate daily records
• Promote resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times and assist with the management of the care team, completing all action plans and ensuring care plans are updated and evaluated regularly

For this post you must have:

• Registration as a qualified Nurse
• An awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning
• The ability to work under pressure
• Good time management skills
• Excellent people skills and IT skills
• A caring and nurturing attitude
• Flexibility with working hours – you will be required to work 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next week including every other weekend
