Registered Nurse – £22.50 per hour – Part time nights – Stourport-on-Severn

Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse to work part time night shifts for a small Midlands based Private Healthcare Provider based in Stourport-on-Severn.

The medium sized home ins a refurbished Grade 2 listed building, set in a country house with wonderful views out over the valley. The team prides themselves on a homely, friendly and attentive environment. Long serving staff are proud of the excellent reputation for the professional care provided. The home provide around the clock care to residents living with Dementia and General Elderly Care needs.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of the resident care team, providing high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, ensuring the overall well-being of residents.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care.
• Providing emotional support and maintaining a comforting environment for residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring timely response to any changes in health status.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic and coordinated care.
• Offer emotional support to residents and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Essential Requirements:

• NMC Registered – RGN ideally, but RMN with a care home background would also be considered
• Passionate about delivering a high-quality service that promotes the independence, choice and dignity of service users
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and friendly nature
• Care planning skills
