This multinational chemical manufacturer is currently seeking a H&S Manager to run their flagship manufacturing plant based just outside of Bolton. This is a standalone position focused on safety leadership, training, and continuous improvements.

The company themselves are a leading chemical manufacturer with a presence in 4 continents. They currently have over £25million worth of investments ongoing and are increasing their on-site headcount. Due to this continued investment and growth, we are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join the team on a full time & permanent basis.

Acting as a subject matter expert, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to advise and improve H&S Management Systems and ensure a safe working environment for all employees on-site.

*Health & Safety Manager
*£65,000 - £70,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits
*Standalone role on a top-tier COMAH site
*Oversee, develop, & Implement policies / management systems
*Fully autonomous role reporting to Operations Director

Person:

*Health & Safety Professional
*Background in COMAH, ATEX and / or DSEAR
*Good background in ISO standards & auditing
*Excellent leadership & training experience
*Looking for a autonomous role offering further development & progression
