Nothing But Healthcare are currently looking for an Occupational Health Advisor to work 4 days per week for a client based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire.
This is a part time, hybrid role, with 3 days on site & 1 day remote (30 hours over 4 days).
What you'll be doing:
- Providing expert, evidence based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
- Providing professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports
- Providing expert advice in respect of legislative requirements and best practice relating to OH
- Providing fitness medicals and health surveillance where required that meet best practice requirements and in line with Health Partners’ policies and protocols
- Evaluating the results of medicals and surveillance provided, and ensuring that the correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate
- Providing (where competent) other OH services where required such as vaccinations, travel health services, ergonomic advice, or health promotion for our clients
- Providing clinical supervision and support other team members where relevant (such as OH Technicians)
- Committed to maintaining valid and up to date registration with the NMC and complying with NMC guidelines in relation to professional issues, clinical supervision and continuous learning and development as a registered nurse
- You should be proficient in the provision of:
- Spirometry
- Audiometry
- General Medicals
- Drug and Alcohol screening
- Case Management
- Fitness for role assessments
