Ranging from training courses to school health services (e.g. IHCP, etc.). We offer anger management services for all children age 0 – 19 years of age.

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. The RMN will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, including physical health assessments where necessary.
  2. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients to promote recovery and improve mental well-being.
  4. Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
  5. Monitor and record patients' progress, documenting any changes in their mental or physical health.
  6. Offer counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families to enhance understanding and coping strategies.
  7. Work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
  9. Provide support and guidance to junior staff, including Healthcare Assistants and Student Nurses, as required.
  10. Adhere to professional standards and ethical codes of conduct, maintaining confidentiality and respect for patients' rights at all times.
  11. Keep abreast of developments in mental health care practices and participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RMN) with current registration with the [Insert relevant regulatory body, e.g., Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)].
  • Previous experience working in a mental health setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with patients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
