Belmont Recruitment is currently looking for experienced outreach and substance misuse workers to join our team for a new opportunity in STEVENAGE. We are specifically looking for candidates with a background in supporting individuals dealing with substance misuse, mental health challenges, and homelessness. This role involves working within a specialized outreach service dedicated to assisting homeless individuals in the Stevenage area.

As an outreach worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of the community. Operating primarily from our hub in Stevenage, you will also venture out into hot spots where homeless populations are known to gather. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload of homeless clients, conducting risk assessments, developing support plans, and delivering one-on-one interventions tailored to address their substance misuse and homelessness issues.

Key Details:

• This position offers a competitive hourly rate of £19.
• Candidates must possess an enhanced DBS clearance registered on the update service.
• Immediate start available.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule and work-life balance.
