• £28- £40/hr
• Flexible hours on offer - long days or short days.
• Contract typy: Locum / Temporary
• Block / Single bookings

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of patients before surgery, including positioning, draping, and sterile techniques.
• Setting up and troubleshooting anaesthetic equipment and instruments.
• Administering anaesthesia under the supervision of an anaesthetist.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and responding to any changes or complications.
• Assisting with airway management, including intubation and extubating procedures.
• Administering medications and fluids as directed by the anaesthetist.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the anaesthetic process.
• Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operating room procedures.
• Adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.

To be considered for this role you must have the below:

• NMC registration
• Nursing degree, ILS or ALS training
• 12-months experience as a Anaesthetic ODP within the last 3 years in a UK hospital theatre
• Knowledge of anaesthetic techniques and equipment.
• Moving and Handling training (available when you join)
• Strong communication skills, organisation, flexibility and good teamwork skills
• The right to work in the UK
