We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, dynamic individuals to join our client's  Team at HCA Healthcare who will have the opportunity to be placed for an ongoing locum block bookings. Advanced Cardiac Physiologist is required to work without supervision as a competent practitioner performing a range of specialised investigations.

• Start date Tuesday 2nd April 2024
• End date Friday 3rd May 2024
• Monday to Friday (4 days per week)
• 09:00 to 17:00
• Band 8+

Duties may include;

• Echocardiography, Complex Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography and Transoesophageal Echocardiography. The post holder will support the Cardiology Service Lead.
• Assisting with the administration of the service and deputising in the service leaders absence.
• Teaching and supervision of junior staff will be required at this level.

Requirements:

• BSc (Hons) in Cardiac Physiology or similar science-based degree with relevant experience.
• HCPC Clinical Scientist registration.
• Proficiency in a range of invasive and non-invasive techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant medical software (Desirable).
• Technical skills for measuring and analyzing physiological data.
• Proficiency in standard software applications.
• Intermediate or Advanced Life Support (ILS/ALS).
• DBS.
• Right to work in the UK.
