I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a fabulous Nursing Home in Norwich.  The home is set in a sought-after residential area of Norwich, and is a boutique, luxury care home offering nursing and residential care in an environment that combines the feel of a cosy family home with the highest hotel standards. Residents enjoy superb food and activities.

In this role you will:

• Assist in managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals while assuring the provision of high-quality care.
• Be in charge of overseeing the care staff and will be expected to assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present
• Through direct instruction and by setting a good example, assist in training and supervising care staff in all facets of their work.
• Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents, ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date
• Foster effective communication with the residents' families and other organisations

For this great role you must have:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with residents to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• A good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing team
• The ability to promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
