Quality Engineer - Hereford

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of products in their sector, the company has been, and continues to be a successful, profitable business where people want to work utilising good working practices. The Quality Engineer will work to define quality criteria for all products and to ensure that the criteria is met, also creating quality control plans promoting a risk management approach and leading on any internal audits. We are looking for an individual to help ensure that the site adheres with the ISO9001 Quality Management System and supports the implementation of ISO13485 and FDA quality system regulation requirements throughout the business, helping to develop and standardise ways of working throughout the manufacturing areas ensuring there is robust documentation to support this.

The Quality Engineer will be required to:

* Support various departments and maintaining the Quality Management system

* Create Quality control plans using a risk management approach

* Lead on internal audits and maintain the internal schedule

* Develop a culture of continuous improvement

* Use corrective action for non-conformances with any internal/supplier issues

* Work to relevant quality standards

Requirements :

* Engineering/HNC or relevant experience

* A good knowledge of Quality Management systems (ISO9001)

* Word, Excel, PowerPoint

* Able to read and understand Engineering drawings

* Knowledge of ISO13485
