A residential service in the South Shields is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Home Manager to lead the team and develop the service.

Details of this Residential Home Manager role and what the successful candidate will receive:

• A permanent full-time contract of 38.5 hours
• A great annual salary from £48,000 to £50,000
• A comprehensive induction, with ongoing training and career development prospects

Duties will include staff management and coaching, the effective management of budgets and resources and promoting the home within the local area in addition to managing and monitoring the care provided within the home and ensuring all regulatory and quality standards are met.

Applicants for this Residential Home Manager should meet the following criteria:

• Have completed a recognised care management qualification such as NVQ/SVQ Level 5, The Registered Managers Award or Diploma Level 5
• Prior experience in a management role in an residential home setting is essential
• A strong leader and able to manage, motivate and delegate to a team of HCAs and Support Workers
• Well organised with strong communication, administrational and record keeping skills
