Are you a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Paramedic seeking a fulfilling role within a forward-thinking, innovative, and progressive PCN?

We have partnered with a well-established PCN in South London, which comprises of 5 GP surgeries with a combined population of approx. 50,000 patients. Their practices are high-achieving and innovative and have a strong ethos of teaching and training. They enjoy excellent collaborative working relationships and excited about expanding their PCN Clinical team to improve health care services for their patients.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Advanced Paramedic Practitioner
  • Job Type: Full time/part-time hours available from Monday – Friday
  • Location: South London
  • Salary: £52,000 - £61,000 per annum with an extensive benefits package including learning and development opportunities, as well as offering mentoring and educational support from their PCN GP, prescribing and clinical leads, ICB pharmacists and additional peer support systems.

About You:

  • Paramedic Science degree, MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, HCPC registration, independent prescriber.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge, patient management, health policy, governance, and public health.
  • Leadership, diagnosis, communication, computer skills, time management.
  • Extensive autonomous practice, examinations, prescribing, project work.
  • Relationship-building, initiative, integrity, equality promotion, policy adherence.

Main Duties:

  • Autonomously provide safe care with enhanced clinical skills in GP practices and community settings. Collaborate with the practice team to meet patient needs and support policy delivery.
  • Autonomously assess and triage patients, providing definitive treatment or referrals.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medication and promoting adherence.
  • Support patients' health needs, including mental health, family planning, and vaccinations.
  • Act as a clinical leader in the delivery of services ensuring that the needs of the patient are a priority.
