Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique medical conditions and requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor and record their effects.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the medical team promptly.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient education programs to promote health and wellness.
- Adhere to all clinical policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay informed about the latest advancements in nursing practice.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid nursing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Knowledge of and adherence to healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record documentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
