Indirect Procurement Manager

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading global food manufacturer that is urgently looking for a Procurement Manager to contribute to the development of the regional indirect procurement category strategy, whilst leading the sourcing cycle and bringing in breakthrough ideas through outstanding approaches.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will develop, support, and implement all procurement strategic projects that are held globally.
  • Build and execute regional category strategies into sourcing and efficiency projects and define the partner team required to successfully deliver the project plan.
  • Deliver cost reduction projects across regional spends and drive value improvement initiatives throughout the category.
  • Engage proactively with team members to understand current and future requirements and align on a unified approach.
  • Provide information and impact assessments for Global Procurement teams to support Global procurement strategies and plans and execute them for the region.

Candidate requirements:

  • A degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent
  • Indirect Procurement Management experience working with Professional Services, HR, Travel, or IT categories.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of elite category management and sourcing practices
  • Strong strategic category experience (strategy to execution) to establish credibility with internal and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience with SAP and Office applications

Salary will be circa £60K to £63K + Car Allowance + Benefits.

The role will be based in the West London area.

Hybrid remote working options available (3 days in the office)
