We are looking for  a Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team within UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.

This is a full time contract  Working hours/Days – Monday-Sunday x 8 hours between the hours of 08:00-17:30.

Salary range: £40,000 to £47,000 DOE with a welcome bonus of £5,000 (T&C's apply) and relocation assistance if required. 

The Role: 

  • Perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with  BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines.
  • Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
  •  Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs
  • Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals
  • Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.

Qualifications, Skills and Antributes required: 

  • BSc degree in healthcare science (cardiac physiology) 
  • Experience of performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Hold British Society of Echocardiography accreditation.
  • A full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance and Caldicott Principles
  • A willingness to embrace new thinking and new technologies
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
