Support Worker

We are looking for a residential support worker for a home supporting young people aged 5-18. They pride themselves in creating a home from home environment to allow young people to flourish and thrive, learning to deal with their past experiences and prepare for the future.
- We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins
Shift patterns - Full time working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)
28 days annual leave minimum including Bank holiday entitlement
Must have:
Be committed to completing an NVQ level 3 health and social care within 12 months of employment
Ability to engage with young people in a positive and proactive approach
