A rare opportunity for Graduate or Laboratory Technicicn to make a move into a part time role with an internationally recognised company.
Working as part of the Quality and Technical team, the focus of this role is to provide the quality assurance administration and laboratory service to the Company. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer’s demands for quality documentation are met, and that internal processes are satisfied. 


Key Accountabilities
• Maintain the Supplier Assurance database – collating questionnaires, filing essential information, e.g. HACCP Plans, Certificates, Policies, Specifications, etc.
• Responsible for carrying out internal audits for traceability, for procedural & HACCP compliance, product inspections & occasional GMP audits and to advise the QA Manager of any non-compliances
• To run the stock inspection report, to ensure that both raw materials and finished products are positively released.
• To prepare, in conjunction with the Technical Manager, any specifications required by customers; in either an internal or external format. This includes both products made on site, and elsewhere under the company agreements.

Person Profile
• Degree or equivalent in a food science or science related subject
• Knowledge of Administrative Procedures; preferably gained in the Food industry
• Excellent communication skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software
• Experience of working under own initiative and in planning and prioritising workloads
