Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Essential duties revolve around the installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines and troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.
Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.
- Respond promptly to enquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.
- Install fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.
- Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
- Assist in forecasting requirements.
- Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including company equipment.
- Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process.
- Help the organisation to reduce energy costs.
- Ensure that all mechanical/electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after
- close of work daily.
- Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
- Learn new skills and attend training programs to increase your knowledge of trends and
- best practices in the industry.
- Provide a safe working environment for staff members and prevent electricity-induced accidents and mishaps.
- Supervise maintenance works when new projects are undertaken.
- Supervise and/or support contractor control onsite.
- Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
