Our client in Woking is an independent, family-owned Residential Home which provides high standards of care to elderly clients. They are now looking for motivated Care Assistants to join their team on Day or Nights shifts and help to support their residents in all daily activities.

• £12.50 per hour with paid breaks!
• Full or part time, permanent contracts

The care home is committed to delivering high quality care to their residents, supporting them to feel independent and comfortable in their later years within a comfortable and inviting environment.

The service underwent an extensive renovation only a few years ago, ensuring that they offer a state of the art, modern interior whilst retaining an attractive period exterior. Their CQC report is rated ‘Good’ in all areas and the home works closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all residents’ wellbeing and health needs are being met.

A full training and induction programme will be in place for all new Carers joining the team and ongoing support is always available from the Home Manager and experienced Senior Care Assistants.

The care home is located just outside Woking town centre with multiple bus routes running nearby.

Key duties for care assistants

• Assistant residents with personal care, for example with washing, shaving and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Supporting with manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using equipment where required
• Work collaboratively with a team of other Carers to provide a high quality of person-centred care
• Assisting with food and drink throughout the day

Desirable for Care Assistants:

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
• NVQ’s within Health and Social Care.
