Molecular Imaging (PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine) Technologist/Radiographer

Location: London Based Private Hospital. Outstanding CQC rated. The Molecular Imaging Department incorporates all aspects of oncology and non-oncology radioisotope imaging as well as radioisotope therapy.

We can also offer you support with relocation if you are living outside of London or the UK; subject to terms and conditions.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum + excellent Employee benefits package Pension and private Health insurance.

Vacancy Summary: Are you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic Molecular Imaging Technologist? would you like to be part of our friendly, fast paced and forward-thinking Molecular Imaging departments.

Role and expectations:

  • You will ideally be an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist on the RCT or a HCPC registered Radiographer with postgraduate Nuclear Medicine Training.
  • Previous experience in CT is also essential.
  • You will deliver quality diagnostic imaging to all service users, ensuring clinical safety and facilitating a high standard of patient care.
  • You will need be both flexible and adaptable to support the service.
  • Perform a wide range of NM and PET/CT procedures to a high standard.
  • Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17.
  • Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.
  • Ensure that quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy, recording and report faults in a timely manner and where appropriate implement corrective action.
  • Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.

Skills & Experience and Qualifications required:

  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Clinical Technology, specialising in Nuclear Medicine.
  • BSc Radiography with postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Valid HCPC or RCT registration
  • Post qualification work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PETCT .
  • Previous CT experience is required.
