About the role:

We are looking for experienced domiciliary support workers within Doncaster (DN4) area to work for a leading care provider in UK, to work with adults with various complex needs. This is a permanent position on a part-time basis. Most Duties will include:

  • To create a home environment that exceeds the needs of the adults, enabling them to feel safe and enrich their lives.
  • To provide a stimulating environment, implementing independence
  • Contributing to the person’s care plans and risk assessments
  • Maintain and promote residential care work to high levels of professionalism with citizens with physical disabilities, Autism, learning disabilities and dementia
  • To meet the emotional and physical needs of our residents and maximise opportunities for their development
  • To complete basic movement and handling risk assessments and initial visits for individuals starting with the service

SHIFTS:  Variable shifts available - Part time, 25 hours per week, covering days or afters over a 14 day rota

Location: DN4 - Doncaster

As a domiciliary support worker you will be required to move between locations and a driving license and own transport are required. 

Pay Rate: £14,837 - £15,383 annual salary for 25 hours (based on 25hrs per week)

Candidate requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of working experience within care setting.
  • Operate with a caring, compassionate, and empathetic attitude.
  • Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
  • The ability to accurately follow instructions and keep records.
  • Flexible in their approach and sensitive to the needs of residents
  • Have the ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues
  • Medication training is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Driving license is essential
