NeuroSupport services is looking for psychology graduates or candidates with a background of Brain Injury and Mental health experience to support services users with an acquired Brain Injury. Our service aims to support rehabilitation and in enabling people to optimise independence and quality of life. We are looking for a Therapy assistant who would be willing to support people both within their home environment and also willing to provide support in helping service users access the community.

Experienced in brain injury support is highy advantageous.

Hours available:

8 hours per week 

Wednesday 10am-2pm  

Friday 10am-2pm  

We require a FEMALE support worker who will assist as a Mothers Help – To help with day-to-day household chores, organisation/planning, appointments, and general household maintenance.

The Mothers Help will also work closely with the case manager, and independent therapy team in supporting our client to follow therapeutic goals and strategies, in meeting her children’s needs. This could include liaising with educational establishments, statutory services, local tradesmen and the estate agents.

What are the activities required?

To assist our client in the management of her rental property, arranging appointments, liaising with educational establishments,

organising household management issues (gardener etc) and general assistance with household chores/utility bills.

Hourly Rate:

£12-14 per hour depending on experience.

Successful Candidates will: 

  • Have access to full Training - including Brain Injury Awareness Training 
  • CPD opportunities 
  • Will be subject to Full Enhanced DBS

  • Must have a Full UK Driving License and access to your own car
  • Have Experience in the field of Psychology 
  • Willing to become self-employed
